Most of our volunteers are content with their nervecentre identity badge; not so for Andrew Tomlinson, however, whose collection of football badges numbers nearly 500.

"I started my collection about a year and a half ago", says Andrew. "I buy badges from dedicated badge websites, E-Bay and also direct from the Football clubs."

Andrew is justly proud of his 92 English league club badges, but his collection is quite cosmopolitan: "I have bought badges from Slovakia, Holland, Germany, and Iceland as well as many other foreign and non league badges: my collection at present stands at 470!"
